English homework – 1st November, 2017

Our new unit in English is ‘Poetry’

For your homework this week I would like you to find a poem that you like.

Comment below and let me know what the name of the poem is, who has written it and why you like this poem.

I can’t wait to find out!

Remember, only first names need to be written.

Celebrating Rosh Hashanah

We celebrated Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) this week by eating something that is eaten traditionally during this celebration.

Apples dipped in honey.

The honey signifies hope for a sweet new year.

Shana Tova everyone from class 1A! 🙂

Hello all parents/carers of Year 1A

Here is a link to a song that we are currently singing in class. The song will support their counting of numbers 0 to 100.

Happy singing!
